Decarbonizing the aviation and maritime transport sectors is the primary goal of Flying Forest Limited, which transforms locally sourced forestry residues into low-carbon green methanol and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Based in Norwich, the company produces these scalable, drop-in fuels. A recent funding round has raised an estimated £225k for the business, bringing the post-money valuation to approximately £11m.
This latest investment follows two previous funding exercises. The firm previously secured £276k in January 2026 at a £10.8m valuation and £398.9k in June 2025 when the company was valued at £8.1m.
Incorporated in 2024, the business reported a three-person team according to its latest accounts for the year ended 31 August 2025. The administrative paperwork for the current funding was filed in June (following an allotment of shares in May).
