Nicola Woollon and James West co-founded Fevvers Ltd to engineer a plant-based alternative to animal feathers. Based in London, the materials innovation company aims to supply the fashion and interiors industries with a cruelty-free and sustainable solution.

A recent funding round for the startup raised an estimated £13.9k. Since its incorporation in June 2025, the business has grown to a team of two employees. The company is currently in the research and development phase and its material is not yet available for commercial purchase.

The technology debuted at the Centre Pompidou during Stella McCartney’s SS26 show at Paris Fashion Week in September 2025. This launch established an innovation partnership and earned the firm the Best Fashion Moment 2025 title at the PETA Fashion Awards.

The management team is currently open to early collaborations with forward-thinking brands and ethical investors. This latest capital injection follows an allotment date in August 2026, with the corresponding paperwork filed in September 2026.
