Faststream Interactive secures £310k for interactive broadcast TV technology
Published
Technology that transforms traditional broadcast television into an interactive experience is the core focus of London-based Faststream Interactive Ltd, which has just raised an estimated £310k. The company develops software that enables viewers to pause, skip, search, and restart programs on traditional TV channels, providing a functionality typically reserved for digital streaming services.
Incorporated in 2024, the firm addresses the limitations of linear broadcasting by providing software that allows for frictionless access to interactive content. Faststream Interactive currently powers ROXi, an interactive music channel. The company targets a client base of US broadcasters, Smart TV manufacturers, and pay-TV vendors across both the United States and Europe.
This recent capital injection (allotted in April 2026) follows a series of funding rounds completed during the previous calendar year. In May 2025, Faststream Interactive raised several amounts, the largest of which was £8.3m. Other allotments in the same month included £402k, £392.8k, and £53.4k. The company continued to raise capital throughout the second half of 2025, securing £189.3k and £62.9k in July, followed by £102.5k in August and £275k in October. The year ended with two December rounds of £25k and £10.1k.
The company operates from its headquarters in London. While specific financial metrics such as annual revenue, profit and loss, or total employee numbers are not included in the latest filings, the firm has maintained a consistent schedule of equity allotments since its inception. The technology is designed for consumers seeking the flexibility of digital streaming within the framework of traditional television infrastructure.
