Clinical knowledge platform Eolas Medical has secured an estimated £229k in new funding, according to filings dated May 5, 2026. The allotment of shares for this round was completed on May 1, 2026. This capital injection follows a £7.6m Series A round that the company closed in December 2025.

Based in Belfast, Eolas Medical was incorporated on January 14, 2019. The company develops AI-powered software designed to provide healthcare professionals with immediate access to guidelines, policies, and standard operating procedures at the point of care. The platform addresses the difficulty of navigating fragmented medical information within hospitals and clinical departments.

The company currently employs between 12 and 18 people. Its technology is used by NHS Trusts and various clinical teams to consolidate medical knowledge from trusted sources into a single interface. The target market includes individual medical departments and large-scale healthcare organizations seeking to improve decision support and patient safety.

This latest funding adds to a series of previous raises. Eolas Medical previously secured £4.1m in a seed round in March 2023 and £1.8m in June 2021. A smaller round of £150k was completed in March 2021, which at the time placed the company at a valuation of £5.8m. No updated valuation was provided for the May 2026 allotment.

The platform focuses on specialties such as knowledge management and clinical decision support. By providing a centralized hub for medical data, the software is intended to give clinicians the information necessary to deliver patient care. The company continues to operate from its headquarters in Belfast, focusing on the development of software for the hospital and healthcare industry.
