Streaming services referral platform Envoy Technology Ltd has raised an estimated £38k in new funding. Based in Winchester, the company provides technology that allows subscribers to share content and participate in reward programs. This platform aims to lower customer acquisition costs for streaming providers by incentivising organic growth through user referrals.

Founded in 2020, Envoy Technology has built a software solution specifically for the publishing and streaming sectors. The company's latest accounts for the year ending 30 April 2025 record a headcount of two employees.

This latest capital injection (filed in May 2026) follows two similar small scale rounds over the past year. In February 2025, the company raised £43.9k at a valuation of £3.7m. This matched the valuation of a June 2024 round where the business secured £44.4k.

Earlier funding activity for the Winchester firm includes a £342.8k round in August 2023, which valued the company at £3.6m. In 2022, Envoy Technology completed two separate raises: a £150k round in May at a £2.8m valuation and a £337.4k round in March at a £2.7m valuation.

The company's technology focuses on the mechanics of content sharing within streaming environments, providing the infrastructure for referral rewards. By integrating these tools, streaming services can track subscriber sharing habits and automate the distribution of incentives to users who successfully bring new subscribers to the platform.
