Engineered Foam Products secures £10m for UK manufacturing expansion

Custom-designed packaging and weight-saving components are the focus of Engineered Foam Products, which has just secured a £10m funding round. Based in Northampton, the company manufactures expanded polystyrene (EPS) and expanded polypropylene (EPP) materials for industries such as automotive, HVAC, construction, and aerospace.

The business was incorporated in 2018 and operates four manufacturing facilities across the UK. Its product range includes materials-handling systems and impact-absorbing components used by global manufacturing firms. Technical capabilities at the sites include dual density moulding, insert moulding of metal and plastics, and surface texturing.

This £10m investment was allotted in August 2026 and represents the only funding recorded for the company this year. LinkedIn data shows the firm employs 84 people. Beyond standard moulding, the company maintains a dedicated CAD design team and provides CNC prototyping and temperature-controlled packaging solutions.

The manufacturer utilizes specific foam types including Airpop and ARPRO to develop its applications. Its client base extends to the pharmaceutical, horticulture, and appliance sectors.
