Economad Solutions raises £208.5k for farm waste conversion technology

Harpenden-based Economad Solutions Ltd has secured an estimated £208.5k in new funding, valuing the business at approximately £3.4m. The company operates within the wholesale of agricultural machinery, equipment and supplies sector, focusing on small-scale anaerobic biodigesters like the BioNomad. These systems are designed to convert farm waste into renewable fuel and fertilizer.
Incorporated in 2018, the firm provides affordable and accessible sustainable resource management and waste recycling solutions for small farms, smallholdings, and rural communities globally. Alongside these products, it produces a Passive Solar Pump and Pasteurizer (PSPP).
The company reported a headcount of five staff members in its latest accounts for the year ended 31 July 2025. This current investment is the only funding recorded for the business in 2026 (allotment documentation filed in July).
