Developing drug treatments for patients with underserved genetic conditions is the core focus of Cycle Group Holdings Limited, which has just raised an estimated £1.7m. The Cambridge-based pharmaceutical company concentrates on the metabolic, immunology, urology, oncology, and neurology sectors. Its portfolio includes NITYR, a specialized medicine designed for patients within the rare disease community.

Cycle Group Holdings was incorporated in 2020 to solve the problem of limited treatment options for rare genetic conditions. The company delivers specialized medicines to patient groups that are often overlooked by the broader pharmaceutical industry. This latest funding round involved an allotment of shares (documented in November 2025).

The company's financial performance for the year ended 31 December 2024 shows a revenue of £133.5m. During that fiscal year, the business recorded a profit of £31.2m. Cycle Group Holdings currently maintains a headcount of 154 employees to support its development and distribution operations.

This capital injection provides additional liquidity as the firm continues its work in the rare disease space. While the company has not publicly disclosed a post-money valuation for this specific round, the investment follows a period of high revenue generation and profitability. The business remains headquartered in Cambridge, a central hub for UK life sciences and pharmaceutical research.
