Cryogenx raises £553k for cryogenic equipment

London-based Cryogenx Ltd develops and manufactures portable suits designed to treat heatstroke. Incorporated in 2019, the company aims to address a global environment where heat-related deaths are projected to increase by 257 percent. The CGX1 emulates ice water immersion using a fraction of the resources required for conventional methods.

This funding round totalled an estimated £553.9k. This follows a previous capital injection of £530.1k. The technology is marketed to medical, emergency response, and other sectors that require rapid personal cooling.

Company accounts for the year ending 31 December 2025 recorded a team of six employees. More recent data from LinkedIn suggests the workforce has since expanded to 11 staff members. The firm positions its devices as a solution for a global economy where the effects of heat stress are forecast to cost $2.4 trillion annually by 2030.

The allotment of shares occurred in August, with the corresponding documentation filed in September 2026.
