Cleverchain raises £264.9k at £13.1m valuation for AI compliance platform

Automating the complexities of corporate due diligence is the focus of Cleverchain Limited, which has just secured £264.9k in new funding. This latest investment values the London-based company at an estimated £13.1m.

The firm develops artificial intelligence-powered software for Know Your Business (KYB) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance. Its platform aggregates and analyzes global data to help financial institutions, fintech companies, and large enterprises manage risk and automate compliance controls. The software is designed to streamline the due diligence process through machine learning and automated monitoring.

Founded in 2021, Cleverchain has seen its valuation grow steadily across five funding rounds. The current £13.1m valuation is a 104 percent increase from the £6.4m valuation recorded in May 2024, when the company raised £972.8k. Previous rounds include £179.7k raised in June 2023 at a £3.4m valuation, £90k in March 2023 at a £2.5m valuation, and £60k in December 2022 at a £1.1m valuation.

Financial accounts for the year ended 31 October 2025 listed a headcount of six employees. More recent data from LinkedIn indicates the team has expanded to 10 staff members. The company operates as a SaaS provider within the security and investigations sector, specializing in regulatory technology and digital intelligence.

The documentation for this latest capital injection was filed in May 2026 (following an allotment of shares in September 2025). Cleverchain continues to focus on providing specialist-designed AML automation for the financial services market.
