Enterprise infrastructure developer Cleeai Limited has secured £666.7k to scale its AI governance software. Based in London, the company provides a Knowledge Operating Layer that sits above large language models to manage the path of inquiries and validate answers against trusted sources. This system, referred to as the Large Knowledge Model (LKM), targets organizations requiring compliant search and insight generation while preventing data leakage.

Founded in 2021, the startup addresses structural issues in machine learning deployment such as high operational expenses and erroneous responses. Its solution directs calls to the most cost-effective versions and enforces verified correctness before outputs reach production. The technology reportedly achieves a 69% reduction in inference compute costs and an 88% decrease in latency per request with 99% routing accuracy.

The recent capital injection brings the total funding for the firm in 2026 to £1m. This follows a period when the entity secured £2.2m in 2025. The business employs 12 people according to its accounts for the year ended 31 December 2025. LinkedIn records indicate a current headcount of 13 staff members.
