Betpal Holdings Secures £81k Pre-Seed Funding to Develop Interactive Sports Software
Published
Betpal Holdings Ltd, a developer of interactive leisure and entertainment software, has raised £81k in a pre-seed funding round. The investment gives the early-stage company an estimated post-money valuation of £1.5m.
Founded on 29 April 2025, Betpal Holdings specialises in ready-made interactive software and provides dedicated information technology services for the sports sector. The company focuses on building digital experiences and sports-related services for the leisure and entertainment markets.
The business is officially registered in Shaftesbury, Dorset, though its primary operations and headquarters are based out of Kemp House on City Road in London. As a newly incorporated entity, Betpal Holdings is still in its foundational stages. The company currently lists zero employees on its LinkedIn profile, and financial metrics such as revenue or profit and loss are not yet available.
The £81k pre-seed round represents the first major capital injection for the company since its inception. The shares for this round were allotted on 30 December 2025, with the official documentation filed on 19 February 2026. Because this is the firm's inaugural funding event, there are no previous rounds for comparison. The names of the participating investors have not been publicly disclosed.
This funding arrives amid a period of strong projected growth for the UK sports technology and interactive entertainment landscape. The UK sports tech market generated £952 million in revenue in 2023, with industry projections suggesting it could exceed £3.5 billion by 2030. This expansion is largely driven by innovations in digital engagement and interactive fan experiences.
Alongside sports tech, the broader UK gaming ecosystem continues to see targeted investments in artificial intelligence, user-generated content, and developer infrastructure. Startups that bridge the gap between traditional sports and interactive gaming are well-positioned to capture early-stage capital. In the gaming and interactive software space, venture capital has increasingly targeted platforms that offer new ways for users to engage with sports content.
Pre-seed and seed-stage investments remain active for companies developing niche interactive platforms, even as later-stage funding faces tighter conditions. Betpal Holdings will likely use this initial £81k injection to build out its core software products, establish its technical infrastructure, and make its first key hires as it prepares to bring its sports entertainment software to market.
