Prior to that, Balio Software Limited raised £828k in November 2025 and £5.7m in a Series A round in October 2024. The company's early stage capital includes a £400.8k seed round in April 2023 and an initial £2.6m seed investment in September 2022.

According to the company's latest accounts for the year ended 31 August 2024, Balio Software Limited employed four people. The firm operates by acquiring and scaling established software publishing businesses through its venture studio model. (The allotment and filing for this latest round took place in May 2026).
