Axies Ventures raises £665.6k for copper and gold exploration

Axies Ventures Ltd has raised £665.6k to fund the exploration and mining of non-ferrous metal ores. The London-based company focuses on copper and gold projects, with operations located in Cyprus and Canada.
Incorporated in 2022, the firm uses science-led and data-driven exploration methods to identify and drill prospects. Financial records for the year ended 30 September 2024 show the company had five employees and recorded a £225.6k loss.
This latest funding round values Axies Ventures at an estimated £5.7m post-money (allotted in March and filed in May). This valuation is an increase from its October 2025 valuation of £4.3m, when it raised £86.4k. In January 2025, the company raised £547.3k at a £5.5m valuation.
The company has completed several funding rounds since its launch. In May 2023, it secured £399.4k at a £2.9m valuation, and in April 2023, it raised £100k at a £2.5m valuation. Earlier that year, in February 2023, the company raised £25.3k at a £1m valuation. During its first year of operation in August 2022, Axies Ventures completed two separate rounds of £156k and £135k, with valuations of £991k and £835k respectively.
Operations are concentrated on the exploration and drilling of prospects in its two primary geographic regions. The company aims to use the capital to advance these discoveries.
