Home energy efficiency platform Snugg has secured an estimated £1m in a Series C+ funding round. The company, which is legally registered as Arniston Ltd, is based in Edinburgh and focuses on environmental consulting activities.

Founded in 2021, the business provides energy efficiency consultancy and project management services. It primarily operates through its Snugg brand, which helps users identify ways to reduce home energy consumption and facilitates installations for solar and battery systems.

This latest £1m injection follows a series of previous funding rounds. The company raised £1.2m in June 2022, followed by a £625k round in June 2023. More recently, in May 2024, the firm completed two smaller allotments of £199.9k and £49.9k. The current Series C+ round was formalised through documentation filed in April, following an allotment of shares in March.

Arniston Ltd currently maintains a team of 12 employees. Recent changes to the company board include the appointment of Clive Adrian Mosey as a director in March.

The company service involves simplifying the process for homeowners to improve their property energy performance. This includes providing access to installers and identifying available grants or financing options for environmental home improvements such as solar panels and battery storage.
