SecureEvent Pro, an agentic AI tool designed for venue security, is the flagship product of London-based startup Airekon Ltd. The company recently secured an estimated £150k pre-seed funding round at an approximate post-money valuation of £2.9m. This University College London spinout provides an AI-augmented knowledge platform that automates risk assessments and predicts threats for security-operations teams and enterprise managers.
Incorporated in February 2025, the firm focuses on connecting relevant information to turn complex data into defensible decisions and audit-ready records while ensuring compliance. While the initial market targets events, expansion plans are underway for sectors including aviation, public transport, mining, and critical infrastructure. The platform is designed to assist human decision-making, allowing teams to retain responsibility for final judgments.
The founding team combines academic research with technical leadership from Google and decades of operational experience. According to LinkedIn data, the company currently operates with one employee. Plutus Investment Group led the investment in partnership with the university.
The funding allotment took place in August 2026 (with formal documentation filed in September). Airekon Ltd reported its latest financial accounts for the year ended 28 February 2026.
