Wagonex Limited, a Cardiff-based automotive subscription platform, has raised an estimated £200.1k in its latest funding round. The investment was confirmed in filings dated 5 May 2026, with the shares allotted on 28 April 2026.

Founded on 4 August 2016, Wagonex operates as both a consumer marketplace and a business-to-business software provider. The company provides a car subscription service that serves as an alternative to traditional vehicle ownership or long-term leasing. Users pay an all-inclusive monthly fee which typically covers maintenance, roadside assistance, and road tax, with insurance often included in the package.

The company also develops bespoke subscription platforms and white-label solutions for partners within the automotive industry. This SaaS offering allows manufacturers and dealerships to launch their own subscription services using Wagonex technology.

This latest injection of capital follows several previous funding rounds. In July 2022, the company raised £2.6m, followed by a £361.3k round in October of the same year. During 2021, Wagonex completed multiple smaller allotments, including two rounds of £249.8k in December, £100.1k in September, and £104.4k in April.

Wagonex currently employs 19 people. The company is headquartered in Cardiff and focuses on the development of business and domestic software for the vehicle market.
