Thame-based Pocket Data secures £250k for water sample management platform

Pocket Data Limited has secured an estimated £250k funding round, reaching an estimated post-money valuation of £1m. The company, which operates from Thame, specializes in integrating data from IoT devices, field-based equipment, and third-party systems to provide organizations with unified, actionable insights.

Founded in 2020, the business addresses the complexity of manual data management through its flagship product, SampleHub. This platform automates water sampling programmes for compliance-driven organizations by interpreting results, scheduling resamples, and triggering notifications based on site-specific rules. The software is designed to produce audit-ready reporting aligned with standards such as ACOP L8 and HTM 04-01.

While LinkedIn data indicates a current headcount of zero employees, the Oxfordshire-based team brings a combined 80 years of industry experience across SaaS platforms and IoT connectivity. The company latest accounts were filed for the year ended 31 October 2025.

This recent capital injection followed an allotment of shares in July, with formal documentation filed in September. Stephen Mark Mccreanor joined the board as a director in August.
