Oxford-based Padel People secures £500k for UK club expansion

Building a network of accessible sports venues is the core focus of Oxford-based Padel People (holdings) Ltd, which has recently secured an estimated £500k in new capital. This funding round places the business at an estimated post-money valuation of £5m.
The company specializes in converting diverse spaces into community-oriented padel clubs. Its portfolio includes venues created from warehouses, leisure units, golf clubs, and former tennis courts, aimed at making the sport available to a broad target market of individuals across the UK. By managing these specific sites, the firm provides affordable playing options for local residents.
Incorporated in January, the firm operates as a holding entity for its various sports facility operations. This latest investment follows an allotment of shares that occurred in July (with formal documentation filed in September).
