Jem Hr Ltd raises £4.1m Series A for deskless worker HR platform

WhatsApp-based HR platform Jem Hr Ltd has secured an estimated £4.1m in a Series A funding round. The business, which operates from Bury St. Edmunds, provides a service specifically for deskless and frontline workers.

Incorporated in 2022, the company digitizes HR operations such as payslip delivery and leave management. The system includes employee benefits and financial wellness features, such as integrated savings and earned wage access.

This latest round follows previous capital injections, with the firm raising £4m in 2025 and £2.3m during 2026. Financial statements for the year ending 31 October 2025 show the business achieved a profit of £292.2k.

At the time of its latest accounts, the company employed two people. Johan Bosini joined the board as a director in August (with the funding round documentation filed and shares allotted in June).
