Flagged Golf secures £20k for social tracking app

Brothers Rhys and Rhydian Llewellyn, both plus-handicap golfers and 2024 Welsh Team Champions, have secured £20k for their startup, Flagged Golf Ltd. The Castle Park-based business is developing a mobile application designed for the world’s 60 million golfers.
Incorporated in October 2025, the business and domestic software development firm addresses the lack of a central hub for players to showcase their games, discover new courses, or connect with brands and clubs. Golf is among the highest-paid participation sports globally, yet users previously lacked a way to record every course they play, track progress on a personal globe, and share experiences within a community. It aggregates GPS data and course reviews, positioning itself as a golf-specific alternative to platforms like Strava.
This recent funding round results in an estimated post-money valuation of £452k. Documentation for the investment was filed in September, following an allotment of shares in August. The company currently operates with a team of two employees.
