Firenze Group raises £1m Series A for investment-backed lending platform

Enabling wealth managers, financial advisers, and investment platforms to offer liquidity against portfolio holdings to help attract and retain assets under management, Firenze Group Ltd operates a fintech platform for Lombard-type, investment-backed loans. The service facilitates cash drawdowns without requiring assets to be moved to a different custodian.

The firm has recently secured an estimated £1m in a Series A funding round, bringing its total capital raised during 2026 to £5.9m. This follows a total of £2.6m raised throughout 2025.

Founded in 2023, the company addresses a market gap where such lending was historically restricted to clients with over £1m in assets. Firenze provides fast credit decisions and capital from a lower threshold of £65k, offering a loan-to-value ratio of up to 50% while managing the technology for applications, underwriting, and monitoring. The platform also handles consumer credit compliance to assist investors with wealth growth and flexible tax planning.

While statutory accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025 recorded a headcount of four people, the company's LinkedIn profile indicates a workforce of 45 employees. The business is based in Manchester and operates within the information technology services sector.
