AI-powered audit platform Checkfirst Limited has secured an estimated £108.5k in a funding round that values the London-based business at approximately £7m. Founded in 2021, the company provides tools for the Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance (TICC) sector. Its platform is designed to replace manual planning and fragmented workflows with automated verification and scheduling systems.
The firm’s core products include ScheduleAI, an optimization engine that manages auditor certifications, travel constraints, and workload distribution to reduce certificate turnaround times. A second tool, VerifyAI, automates level 1 document reviews to check for consistency and compliance indicators. These solutions are used by auditors, regulators, and researchers to collect and verify digital content.
Total funding raised by the company in 2025 reached £419.7k, including this latest round which was allotted in October 2025. While accounts for the year ended 31 October 2025 recorded a headcount of three employees, the company’s digital profile suggests a larger team of 24 people. Checkfirst also offers open-source investigative services to help media partners and decision-makers monitor disinformation and platform accountability.
